Re-Written Lantern Oaths

Green, Blue, and Red Lantern oaths, SaveYJ&GLTAS style.

Green:

In brightest day, In blackest night, these shows will not escape our sight,

Let those who worship WB’s might, Beware our power, Fanterns Unite!

Blue:

In suspenseful day, in uneasy night, with broken hearts full, our souls ignite,

When our shows SEEM lost in the war of light, look to us Fanterns, for our hope burns bright!

Red:

With sadness and rage of feelings red, we fill WB’s souls with darkest dread,

And change their minds about our shows this late, WE’LL GET THEM BACK- THAT IS THEIR FATE!

Tweet #WarnerBrosEnt @WarnerBrosEnt this Saturday at 6pm EST!

But wait, you say, isn’t it redundant? We’re already tweeting at them!

That’s the whole point. If we can get the tag to trend, what’s the best way to get their attention, but with their handle as the tag itself! Rather than go with other show-related hashtags, we’re reaching them directly and bluntly.

One request I’ll make [apart from the obvious ‘include both shows’] is to not include SMGO in your tweets.

Why? If we’re trying to get people to help donate and also bring attention to the pledges?

Because we’re trying to bring attention to WB about the shows. Wanting to demonstrate to them that we’re a huge fandom, and that we’re still going strong, months later, and that we’re not giving up. I get that we need the money, but we need to push the shows to them as something they should invest on once again, because it has a big market and potential, not to mention the cliffhangers!

They had said no to SMGO, and without the money, it’s moot point trying to shove it again. What we do need to prove is that this is not just another fandom, but that we’re a strong, combined fandom working together.

That’s also why we made the time for this later, that way no one has to wake up early on a Saturday morning to tweet, and hopefully we didn’t make this too inconvenient for International fans, but it’s hard to pick the perfect time, but since everyone’s usually up late on Saturday’s anyway.

So just tweet at them as much as you can, be relentless, talk to them about why you loved the shows, why you miss them, why they should put the shows back, anything!

Even after the tag trends, keep tweeting! Don’t stop, let’s see if we can get it going for as long as we can!

Yay this looks awesome! It’s a been while since we’ve done this but I hope way more fans will participate this week since you won’t have to sacrifice any beauty sleep on Saturday = )

We have their attention. The spotlight is on us, the fandoms! This is when we really need to get our stuff together and show them what we’ve got. Not the time to give up and lay down. Basically, we need to show them how vast and diverse we are. They…

*gives a gentle slap to everyone who is posting about giving up*

Hey guys.

We have been told that SMGO wasn’t the be all, end all.

We knew we’d have to work hard if we want these shows back.

This is only the beginning.

We could potentially bring about a change in the way things are run at WB. We could make them question how they view their audience and how they come up with ideas.

Use that anger to fuel more campaign efforts.

We’re not done yet.

Funny how lots of 13-25 year-old girls are fans of a cartoon made for 6-10 year-old boys…

Just saying…
